**Short answer** Geekbench-class CPU, fio NVMe and iperf port readings taken from our own fleet, per datacenter - with the method, so every number is reproducible on your instance.

12 locations · 19 coins · SLA 99.95% · no KYC · [public canary](https://vpsbit.io/warrant-canary/)

VPS from $4.80* — Core on the annual term (list $6/mo), one invoice for 12 months, no auto-charges. Dedicated with IPMI from $39.20/mo. Crypto invoice, no KYC.

[Launch now](https://vpsbit.io/deploy/?kind=vps&plan=core/) VPSbit publishes per-location performance notes: Geekbench-class CPU, fio NVMe and iperf port readings from its own fleet, refreshed 2026-09-14. Same host generation in every datacenter; ranges, not peaks. VPS from $4.80/mo, dedicated with IPMI from $39.20/mo annual-eff. Reproduce every figure on your own instance: https://vpsbit.io/deploy/.

## Method

Readings come from the shared-EPYC hosts that carry our entry KVM tiers: ECC memory, local NVMe, 1 Gbps port, no bursting tricks behind the numbers. Every figure below is a typical range, not a sales peak, and the honest move is to re-run the same commands on your own instance after deploy. Last refresh: 2026-09-14.

## Reading the spread between cities

Single-core scores cluster because every location runs the same host generation; a two-percent swing between flags is scheduler noise, not a reason to move. What a table cannot show is contention on a given evening - shared vCPU means neighbors borrow the same silicon. Workloads that live on the 95th percentile, like busy databases, build farms or game ticks, belong on the [dedicated ladder](https://vpsbit.io/dedicated/), where whole cores are pinned and IPMI sits out-of-band. Everything else runs fine on a KVM slice from $4.80 to $6.

## CPU (Geekbench 6 class)

| Location | Single | Multi |
|---|---|---|
| Iceland (Reykjavik) | ~1,450 | ~2,700 |
| Netherlands (Amsterdam) | ~1,460 | ~2,750 |
| Switzerland (Zurich) | ~1,450 | ~2,720 |
| Germany (Frankfurt) | ~1,455 | ~2,740 |
| Hong Kong | ~1,445 | ~2,700 |
| Tokyo | ~1,450 | ~2,720 |

## Disk (fio) and network (iperf)

| Metric | Typical |
|---|---|
| fio seq read (1M) | ~2.5-3.5 GB/s |
| fio seq write (1M) | ~1.2-2.0 GB/s |
| fio randread 4k QD32 | ~80-140k IOPS |
| iperf3 TCP (1 Gbps SKU) | ~900-990 Mbps | The fio rows assume the local NVMe every KVM instance carries - no network-attached compromise - and the iperf row is what a 1 Gbps unmetered port sustains long-term. Boxes whose whole job is throughput per terabyte should compare [Titan](https://vpsbit.io/vps/): 320 GB of the same local NVMe behind a 10 Gbps port at $24/mo list. Deploy [Core from $4.80](https://vpsbit.io/deploy/?kind=vps&%3Bplan=core&plan=core/) and verify on your node. Token-only signup available.

Are these marketing peaks? No. They are shared-vCPU ranges from hosts we also rent out. Always verify on your node after deploy.

Same price every location? Yes. One list price in all twelve cities.

Which plans should not trust shared-vCPU ranges? Anything living at the 95th percentile: busy databases, compile farms, tick-rate-sensitive games. The dedicated line pins whole cores from $39.20/mo annual-eff.
